Live Air Quality Map
Roughly two thousand EPA AirNow monitoring sites report hourly air quality across the country. Each dot is colored by its AQI category, from green Good through maroon Hazardous; click a site for its exact reading.
Readings are preliminary and can lag or be revised. During smoke events, pair this layer with the NOAA smoke plumes to see whether smoke overhead is reaching the surface.
