State and local air agencies issue next-day AQI forecasts for hundreds of reporting areas, published through EPA AirNow. This map plots tomorrow's forecast category for each area with the same color ramp as the current readings, with a dark outline marking forecast points.
Toggle the current AQI layer alongside to compare today against tomorrow. Forecasts are agency judgments and can change as conditions develop.
